Fusion Business Solutions ITIL Review Services centre on the process approach defined within the ITIL best practice framework for IT Service Management.
Each review performs an evaluation of current process capability against the ITIL framework and Fusion customise these review services to meet the needs of our clients. The short, high-level, ITIL Health Check helps identify quick wins which can be used to build a roadmap for moving the IT Organisation steadily up the maturity ladder toward fully optimised operations or to achieve better value from a planned or existing ITIL implementation.
The longer, more detailed, ITIL Maturity Review delivers detailed recommendations and a roadmap for service improvement. Each review follows a different format and delivers different output, these are:
ITIL Health Check - The ITIL Health Check enables organisations to benchmark their capability in delivering technology services, measuring service levels and assessing performance by comparing the maturity of the current service against the ITIL® best practice framework.
Working with key stakeholders in a workshop environment the Health Check steps through and discusses each of the ITIL processes in order to derive a balanced view of current process maturity and operational issues.
Fusions experienced consultants then analyse the findings and measure these against the ITIL Best Practice framework and prepare a set of prioritised recommendations. These recommendations allow an organisation to produce a road map for service improvement aimed at addressing their most critical service management issues. The follow up report illustrates process by process maturity ratings and incorporates a list of improvement recommendations. The results are designed to identify a number of Quick Wins to help improve the cost and quality of your organisation’s IT service operation.
ITIL Maturity Review - The ITIL Maturity Review not only provides a balanced view of current process maturity but also advises on the subsequent path of improvement activities needed to deliver most benefit.
Working with a customer sponsor, those key stakeholders and practitioners who perform day-to-day activities within the scope of the ITIL best practice framework are identified. Once identified, a series of focused interviews are held to discuss the existing operational processes in order to derive a balanced view of current process maturity and operational issues.
Fusion's experienced consultants then analyse the findings, and any collected documentary and observational evidence, and measure these against the ITIL Best Practice Framework in order to benchmark current process maturity. The findings are then condensed into a report detailing the strengths, areas for process improvement and recommendations identified during the review. Also included is a advice on the recommended path of service/process improvement.
All ITIL reviews are delivered using accredited and experienced consultants and provide a comprehensive framework to identify the strengths and weaknesses within a technology providers existing processes. However, comparing existing processes against a recognised best practice is not simply a matter of passing a test but should be considered the first step to moving the IT Organisation steadily up the maturity ladder toward fully optimised operations.
